Geo Stewart to define creative direction for key campaigns and client work across the agency
Marketing Werks, a CROSSMARK Company and a leading consumer engagement firm in North America, announced that Geo Stewart has joined the company as VP, Creative Director. Stewart will be based at the firm’s Chicago headquarters.
Stewart, 43, will partner with the SVP, Executive Creative Director to lead Marketing Werks’ creative department responsible for providing creative and conceptual thought leadership. He will develop and refine strategic ideas across mediums and articulate creative direction for key campaigns and client work across the agency’s client roster. In addition to his creative responsibilities, Stewart will assist with the agency’s new business opportunities and pitches.

Prior to joining Marketing Werks, Stewart was a Chicago-based Vice President of Creative Services at The Marketing Arm. While there, he was the creative lead for State Farm’s sponsorship business. He was responsible for the development of experiential, social and promotional programs, including content creation. Prior to that he worked at Wunderman where he worked on brands including Xbox, Ubisoft, Outback, Red Bull, Coors Light, Nestle, AARP and Burger King. Stewart holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts & Sciences from the University of Southern California.
